RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Our imaging department is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment provided by Philips Company capable of providing quality diagnostic images.

Mammosonography (Breasts Ultra Sound)

The examination is conducted by a female radiologist with Doppler study of all the breast divisions and axillary check-up.

Annual screening programs are important for early detection of breast cancer from the age of 35 years.

Computerized Radiography

The x-rays are performed digitally instead of using the conventional film method. This modern digital radiography system requires less radiation. It is safer for the patient and better quality imaging is possible.

DENTAL X-RAY

Our hospital has a special dental X-ray unit capable of performing panorama and cephalometry studies.

Fluoroscopy

A modern digital fluoroscopy machine has been installed. All specialized fluoroscopic procedures and barium studies can be performed on this efficient x-ray machine.

Ultrasound

A sophisticated new ultrasound machine is used to perform routine ultrasound studies (Breasts, Pelvic, Abdominal, Thyroid, Prostate, Scrotal) as well as vascular colour doppler and musculo-skeletal imaging.

All Examinations are done by the Specialist Radiologist.

We are one of the few medical centers in Ajman offering 3D and 4D obstetric ultrasound imaging. It is possible to image your unborn baby's face. A recording is made for you on CD

Computerized Tomography (CT)

Our department uses a dual slice helical CT scanner capable of high resolution volume scanning. A large body volume can be scanned in a short time. Multi-planar and 3 dimensional reconstructions are possible.

3D / 4D Ultrasound Pregnancy Scans

3D/4D scanning is an amazing three dimensional picture of your baby on the screen. 4D is to see this 3D image in a real time moving state. Your baby can be seen moving, yawning, sucking its thumb and even smiling.

The equipment uses sophisticated techniques, transforming the traditional ultrasound 2D scan such as the one that you have at the ordinary obstetric ultrasound examination.
